SmartScript - Development of NQF aligned training material

About Us

SmartScript is a proudly South African and BEE-compliant business, started and managed by women. We also provide additional employment to outside contractors, and are involved in and support our communities through the ideals of the “Lead SA” campaign

We ascribe to the values of our National Constitution, promote sound and open business practices and are committed to playing a decisive role in the skilling of our nation.

SmartScript began operating in 2005, under the management and vision of Narina Horn.

Recognising that training and skills are essential to the continued growth of the South African economy, SmartScript started to develop and maintain unit standard aligned training material, providing access to SETA approved and regulated training material to all disciplines in our economy

From small beginnings, we have to date developed over 800 Unit Standards and 21 qualifications, and we continually develop new material. Our material covers all major disciplines, from IT Management, Business Management, Entrepreneurial Skills, the Transport Industry and many more.

Training material can be customised to incorporate the customer’s logo.

All training materials are researched and aligned with specific outcomes and assessment criteria prescribed in the relevant SAQA unit standards and/or qualifications.

Our Material

Our material is developed to the highest quality and in a format which conforms to SETA requirements.

Typical Training Material Will Consist Of:

Good Day, I work on a small mine in KZN,as Training Supt.

I am used to the MQA and thus require your input .

A “vendor” is doing training on the mine , said person used to work for a big company and whist there he obtained and registerd as an assessor to assess 6 unit standards.

Subsequently he resigned and formed his own company , now he is training and issuing certificates. Dont you have to be a registerd training provider to issue certificates. When I was at my previous mine we got NQF 4 accreditation for metalurgy. This does not allow me to issue certificates under a new company, eventhough , I might still be registered with the relevant Seta
